The heart-almost-dropped ending

My sister and me went for a shopping trip with our dear cousin ( just put cousin lah eh? Haha) Atikah to Bugis last Friday and each of us bought a nice pair of shoes! Plus a few other things. Finallyyyyy, im sure i will be able to keep the shoe properly for a longer period of time. I feel this...strong chemistry with my new pair of shoes, which convinces me that i will wear this shoe more often compared to my previous shoes, till they are totally worn out. After that, we proceed to Orchard. Didnt find any nice things within our budget so we ended up eating desserts at McCafe. I've been wondering.... Whatever has become of this world? I have NEVER seen sooooo many lesbians and gays within such a short period of time (1.5 mths) in my life before. I have seen lesbians from ALL races *shiver*. Astarghfirullahalzim, may Allah provide guidance to all of us.

On Saturday, my family, grandma, aunty, uncle and me went to the Tampines Retail Hub to buy some home organization stuffs at ikea. We ended up buying pillows and some flower pots only. After checking-out at amalina's counter, we bought the soft but tasteless ice cream and walk our way to courts. It was our first time at courts. No one has been there before (not sure about my uncle). Hahahah let me tell u a cute and hilarious story about my nenek (grandma). She was looking for a small kitchen table. We walked through the sofa area to the dining tables area and continue walking and browsing until we reached the end, which was a small cafe. My mum and nenek was leading the group but my grandma didnt see the cafe sign above her.
Nenek: sidah... Meja kat depan tu kecil2 pulak eh? Cantik jugak...*walked briskly to the tables*
Mum: ibu! Tak bu! Ni kedai makan!
Nenek: hah? Kedai makan??

ALL of us burst out laughing, laughing out loud as if we were the only ones there. Even the waiter at the cafe's entrance laughed out loud! Hahah my nenek so cute!

On monday, i went cycling with estee in the morning. Thankfully, the weather was veryyyy nice:) it was estee's third time riding a bicycle so she had to learn balancing herself first before riding stably. She was such a fast learner! After cycling, we had lunch at Burger King and time was 12.30. She suggested that we watched The Hunger Game at i12 katong. I had nooo idea what the story was about so she told me the storyline briefly, based on the trailer. After praying at Siglap Mosque, i met her i12 katong and we watched our movie. It was the first time in my life to cry BUCKETS of tears for an english movie. Before that, i had never poured my tears for any movie (excluding Hindustani movies hahah). The story is freaking awesome, totally awesome. I dont think the feeling is the same if you watch it at the TV though. The movie ended at 4.30. We met eileen and bernice, eileen's friend, at a yoghurt shop in the basement after estee found out that they were in the same mall as us. Ard 5, eileen and her friend went up for their turn to watch The Hunger Games while estee and me made our way home. My wallet drama started here.

When my bus arrived, i reached for my wallet in my beg but it wasnt there! I knew for sure i left it in the theatre. The very theatre which eileen and her friend were watching The Hunger Games! Estee said i need to remain calm. 'it must have fallen under the chair and since the theatre is dark, no one will take it'. I went to the service counter and told them my situation. Two of them went off to get my wallet (that was what i thought) but apparently, my seat was at the center of a row that was totally occupied. They couldnt get it because it would be disrupting the customers' movie watching. They asked me to leave my phone number with them and they would contact me once they found my wallet. My ezlink-card, i/c, nets, money, photos and other essential stuffs were ALL in that wallet, how was i supposed to go home without it? I couldnt even make my way anywhere! I talked to the manager and he said the only choice left was for me to come back at 7, the time at which the movie would end. Luckily i had my phone with me. I didnt dare to call my mum haha i was afraid of how she would react. I was actually planning not to tell her anything about my lost wallet incident because i was confident i would get it at the end of the day. So i called shirin.

Luckily she wasnt having any class. She looked up for a map to the nearest mosque. I had to borrow a pen and a paper from a shop to write down the directions. And so... I walked to Khalid Mosque. I walked passed the Hotel 81, shop&save, a junction and blah blah blah. Finally, i reached the mosque. Alhamdulillah shirin picked up my phone. Alhamdulillah she helped me find my way to a nearest mosque. After praying, my mum called and said, 'Why are you still not home now?'. With a soft and gentle voice, i told her about my wallet. Alhamdulillah she was in a good mood and she was like 'Kalau ada rezeki, kakak jumpa wallet kakak. Kalau tak, tu takdir. Doa banyak2. Mak pun doakan'. I reached i12 katong on time and went straight to the Golden Village. One of the staffs brought me to the theatre to look for my wallet. It was heartwarming to see two other people helping me to look for my wallet. Thank you GV staffs! Buuuuuut, my wallet was nowhere to be found! One guy shone a light under my chair and it was not there. My heart nearly dropped to the floor. And then, a school girl came running in and said 'Is this your wallet?'. Alhamdulillah, I was sooooo grateful and relieved! I thanked her profusely and called my mum and friends, telling them about the happy news. Allah is Great:). Thanks for praying for me Mak<3. I should always tell her my problems, not only my happy moments. Well, "Doa seorang ibu paling makbul";)

i must stop being careless and take better care of my belongings. MUST.
